Reception and security

The reception service is the first point of contact with the Village: it welcomes residents, families and visitors, providing information and guidance. The switchboard routes calls to various offices.

Located at the entrance of the Village, the day centre welcomes from Monday to Friday (9 AM–3 PM) people with mild or mild-moderate Alzheimer’s, who return home in the afternoon. The multidisciplinary staff — composed of manager, healthcare workers, psychologist, educator, occupational therapist, social worker, nurse and club leaders — offers activities aimed at stimulating autonomy and preserved abilities, responding to the need for socialization. For residents of Municipality III, a free shuttle service is available.

A versatile space that hosts events for residents and families, but also public meetings on topics related to Village life. It accommodates also the activities of the Parkinson day center and, as needed, also religious celebrations.

During the pandemic, to bridge the absence of physical contact — essential for those living with Alzheimer’s — the hug room was created. A protected space, with a soft plastic wall and sleeves made of incubator material, which allowed family members and residents to touch again, hold hands, share a caress. A simple gesture, but essential to keep emotional memory alive and counteract the sense of loneliness.

Next to the reception, a welcoming room serves as a gathering point for outings and group activities, both internal and external. Information boards are updated weekly on available offerings.

A modern bar and a restaurant led by an expert chef are open every day, including Sunday, to residents, their families and the general public. The restaurant offers both a fixed menu and an à la carte menu that changes daily, for a quality culinary experience. Both residents and external guests can make reservations, for lunch and dinner, at 06.872089281-2.

The mini-market, reserved for residents, is a real everyday living space. Here you can find fruit, vegetables, bread, household items, just like in a neighborhood shop. Accompanied by operators, residents can shop independently, strengthening gestural and decision-making abilities related to daily life.

Inside the arts and crafts gallery, there is the beauty salon, open to residents, family members and also neighborhood residents by reservation: a well-appointed place where you can take time for yourself.

A personalized creative journey: rooms dedicated to music, reading, crafts and painting, with instruments, books, materials and colors. Each resident can choose the activity most aligned with their personal story, rediscovering skills, stimulating the mind and nurturing self-esteem.

Cultural outings are also planned, such as visits to museums and temporary exhibitions, convinced that art can nourish the mind and strengthen relationships.

A small indoor gym where, with the support of specialized operators, residents can perform physical exercises designed to promote the wellbeing of body and mind.
